February 26, 2015 - Dark ruby colour. Blackberry, liquorice, vanilla, alcohol on the nose. Some oak and blackberry on mouth, also with spice (somewhere between black pepper and tobacco). Medium-light body, medium acidity, medium tannins. Quite a bit of heat, oak and coffee on the longish finish. Nothing exciting. Good if you find it under 20$.

February 15, 2015 - 3 Pleasing southern Rhone blend. Plenty of fruit considering the cool vintage. Not complex, but pleasurable.

November 17, 2014 - Barrel Select Portfolio Tasting (Toronto, ON): Pretty solid wine here, but not a style I'm totally crazy about. Nose is of black Jujubes, hints of pepper, soil, a touch of confectioners sugar, blueberries and blackberries. Middle of the road stylistically. Good, solid and well made, nothing more. It's all about the deep, pure, very slightly confected fruit.
