June 9, 2012 - Still crazy after all these years... Aged gracefully, elegant. Delicious.

June 20, 2011 - nose was alcoholic and sharp at first, with lots of strawberries, mint and mushrooms. As the wine opened up further, prominent notes of sweet lychees came out. I was immediately reminded of Rayas and the 1998 Le Pin I loved so much. There was also a little bit of orange. Honestly, this wine is still a little young and could do with a few more years of cellaring.

February 20, 2008 - A dark color for pinot, with loads of dark cherries and stony fruits: damson if you will, perfume, some meaty notes, and great balance. Smell like a great Morey St Denis. Tons of nutmeg, cardamom, asian spices and clove. A beautiful, surprisingly youthful wine, with a long, long finish with hints of cedar on the back end. At a beautiful peak and I doubt it will improve from this tremendous showing. A real treat. Thanks AG. 96 pts.

August 22, 2007 - This wine was perfect for a Tapas dinner. Its my last bottle and was drinking great. On to the 99's!

August 7, 2007 - Unbellievable effort..clearly Grand Cru all the way. Impeccable balance and long finish.
