May 31, 2016 - Classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Brightly acidic with lemon/lime fruit flavors. Delicious, refreshing, cleansing, and mouth watering. Superb with a huge variety of foods. No grassiness or grapefruit. Superb on release and equally good drunk years later.

February 13, 2016 - Citrus aromas. Rich fruit and mineral on the palate. Drank with broiled scallops with lime butter, pasta with shrimp, feta cheese, tomatoes and broccoli rabe, and roasted asparagus. As the wine warms with food some mineral flavors appear. Some of the brighter fruit aromas and flavors are softening. Delicious with dinner. Round. Smooth. Some apple and apricot. Still quite good.

October 10, 2015 - (Written 10/11/2015) Drank as the first wine of the evening with appetizer of fig, goat cheese and prosciutto. Wine was quite smooth and good with nice fruit and wet rock tastes. May have been a little on the cold side, which muted the initial aroma and flavor.

March 5, 2015 - A little rough for my taste on a Sancerre. Good minerality but awkward flavor transitions btwn lemon and very herbal notes. Next bottle is going to be well chilled- and might have it with seasoned chicken.

November 13, 2014 - Don't drink over chilled. This will be great spring of 15.
