August 24, 2019 - Lighter than other vintages, yet more refined and equally complex. I very much look forward to drinking through this half case.

February 15, 2014 - WSET Level 3 Course - Berry Brothers & Rudd; 1/25/2014-3/22/2014 (Berry Brothers & Rudd - Basingstoke): Appearance: clear, deep ruby with garnet rim. Some legs
Nose: clean, medium(+) intensity, developing, earthy savoury notes, black fruits(blackcurrant, blackberries) pickled onions, Branston pickle
Palate: dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(+)/high fin grained tannins, medium(+) body, medium(+) intensity flavours, medium finish, medium level of alcohol (13.5%). Black fruits; some sournbess, some spicyness, mineral(stone); quite fresh; initial fruit gives way to tannic finish
Overall: Good balance; reasonable length finish; quite intense; lot going on - complex.
Conclusion: GOOD/VERY GOOD; can drink now - suitable for further ageing; PREMIUM priced (£19.95)
