April 11, 2020 - Golden yellow. A bit darker in color than hoped for, but the wine was still well alive. Developed nose with ripe apples (hint oxidised) honey and wax. Minerals and a hint of caramel. Med + acidity gives the wine a fresh appearance in the mouth. Ripe apples, honey and oak in the aftertaste. Good complexity, noticeable alcohol in the finish. Based upon this bottle, I wouldn't keep this for much longer, don't see this one improving with time.

January 21, 2018 - overcooked and oxidised, possibly a defective cork

February 9, 2016 - A generous glass from an open bottle in a wine bar. Deep-coloured with plenty of taste and stuffing: Sligtly oxidised, honeyed and rich though quite dry; the acidity is not prominent. Comes across as a bit monotonous and doesn't seem to develop in the glass.

October 15, 2015 - To me, this is just brilliant! Lovely smoky flint yet rich, almost viscous mouthfeel yet no trace of oiliness, just very fresh. Some tropical fruit, a touch of licorice, pleasant minerality. I'm sure this will develop into something much smoother, fuller and more polished-but I really enjoy it young like this. Hint of tartness and a promise of a bright future.

February 23, 2015 - Very little aromatics. On the palate, yellow fruit, bruised apples, honey, flowers. Decent attack with a medium mouthfeel. Strange astringency on the mid-palate that breaks up the wine. Citrus finish, medium long. Overall an ok wine, but something is not quite balanced.
