February 23, 2024 - very open and expressive. beautiful wine drinking very young.

March 20, 2021 - Tasted blind, this wine had a medium yellow center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose put forth wax, lime, minerals, and wax.

In the mouth, this wine was ripe and rich with strong integrated acidity and a huge stony finish.

This was an impressive young wine that clearly had a point or two of upside from here. Give it at least 5 years in the cellar if you can.

October 16, 2020 - Tasted blind, this wine looked young with a yellow center and clear rims. It was quite tight and reduced in the nose. After a few hours it showed citrus, orange, white stone, and apple cider.

In the mouth, this wine was rich with crisp acidity and very good length.

There was something an element of reduction that held this bottle back from a higher score. Nonetheless, it was pretty attractive. I am not sure if there is much upside but it will easy last 10-15 years.

June 5, 2020 - What a dreamy Chablis! The 00 Dauvissat Les Clos needs some attention and some air to show its best, but with an hour and a half in the decanter the initially taut nose unwinds to deliver generous lemon/lime and yuzu aromas. The plate is even better, the citrus and yuzu amplified and complemented by sea breeze, kiwi, and a bit of lush pastry cream. Delicious - and based on its initial reticence the best days may be ahead...
