August 16, 2023 - Served blind and my learneth friend was guessing all over the place; has spice, cool backbone, dark, cool fruit, a true cab, but in no way declining. Dark and sexy.

August 12, 2022 - Wow, this is exceptionally good. Still packing fruit, little bit of grip on the tannins still. Subtle, elegant. Great balance. Yum.

May 18, 2022 - Much better than last showing, improving with air. Has real depth, plenty of cool cab notes, mint, olives, some mature, rounding notes. Needs air. Drinking a point IMHO.

December 5, 2018 - pruny notes, lots af alcohol; a mess of a wine, and it should not be. Could be a bad bottle, otherwise this is gone - and I don't think so, lots of fruit here, and the colour is bright and red ...
tasted over two days, basicly unchanged.

September 29, 2018 - Opened 2 hours before drinking, decanted 1 hour prior. Slightly browned around the edges of glass, but actually quite remarkable depth of colour for a wine of this age. oak and blue cheese notes on nose, very ripe blackberry on palate. Big initial flavour burst, then fades quite quickly. Still great fun to drink, but probably 3-4 years past its best. Was better 30 mins after opening than at 2 hours, but then came back after another half hour or so.

(LEEUWIN ARTIST SERIES CABERNET SAUVIGNON) #2; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-I LOVE this - vegetal at its finest (bell pepper, asparagus, broccoli, English peas); TASTE-a little too vegetal; very nice, I like this wine, very vegetal, but a little bitter; tannins are coming through; polished & elegant, but vegetable city (no fruit); RP-91; GV-88
