    March 30, 2019 - Drank alongside 04 Old Vine and 04 Bogan.
Unfortunately small bit of cork taint here.

November 17, 2018 - Started drinking 2 hours in the decanter, still punching strong after 5. Big, black and punchy, black as the day comes. Black fruits and licorice. I am a Kaesler fan, if I want a big old vine Barossa shiraz, they win day in day out, however this will not be for everyone. It is big and lacking in descriptors, but it was dog year. This is in my face and I have enjoyed it with a big fat steak, shameless glutony. Big big wine, whilst holding well its at its peak, drink over the next 3 years, its not going to improve.

August 15, 2016 - Drank along side 04 Old Vine, 04 Bogan and 04 Stonehorse. All wines were still quite remarkably youthful in appearance, deep, dark violet/ruby in colour. All wines were tasted after 3 hours in the decanter.
This took the longest of the 4 wines to open up needing about 5 hours in the decanter to fade away the tad hot and heaviness. Quite closed on the nose, ripe, stewed, jammy black fruits, and as the wine integrates it opens up into a lovely big full bodied wine. Maybe try another year in the cellar, otherwise a long decant. Lovely wine.

December 22, 2015 - Drank along side a couple of 2003 Old Bastards. This still has some heat in comparison, I will try again end of 2016.

August 7, 2015 - Lovely wine, still needs a couple hours to open up although a big wine. Will keep for a few years yet
