August 8, 2017 - My first taste of Grillo so far as I can remember, and a most unusual wine discovery. Quite oxidative, but still fresh, not just because of the lively but not excessive acidity. Layers of blanched nut aromas (almonds, pistachio) and subtle hints of lavender, violets and roses. [From the BBR sale]

October 30, 2014 - nose - some nuttiness here plus honey and something floral
This is gorgeous
Imagine a white burgundy slowly morphing into a marsala vergine
It's dry with some lemons and a little floral but there's also this distinct nutty, marsala-esque quality

March 18, 2014 - The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apricot and peach. It tastes like apricot peach and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
