Community Tasting Notes 6

February 23, 2019 - Delicious on a sunny saterday afternoon in february (!). Gold yellow chablis premier cru les vaucopins in my glass.
Expressieve nose, predominantly mineral, salty sea aroma's. Citrus and Apple in the nose, caramel notes and vanilla (oak).
Flavours of dried fruit, apricorn, and quince on the palate.
Full bodied. Fresh acidity. Delicate. Slighty acidic finish.

September 30, 2017 - Much more evolved. Still relatively simple, but a little fruit, pleasant structure and short finish.

July 3, 2016 - Light straw. Citrus nose. Top notes are all lemons, a touch of lime, flint and limestone moving to green apple and star fruit. Highly acidic and a bit imbalanced. This is a nice wine, but not necessarily great relative to other Chablis / CPCs.

February 23, 2016 - lots of oak on the nose, nice complexity and balance, new oak comes through, long finish, elegant & very tasty

January 19, 2016 - Lots of mineral and acid, limited fruit, refreshing, I liked it, but not sure if I $40 liked it.
