  April 19, 2020 - Tried another bottle over two evenings. 1st half of the bottle with a decant was exceptional. Definitely a 90+. Second evening after 24 hours with no air in a split bottle, it's exceptional character had declined a bit. Probably at the end of the window. Pop it, decant it and drink up.

  Dark opaque core. Showing aromas of blueberry, plum, raspberry, toasty oak and plenty of black pepper.
  Medium bodied entry, meaty palate along with plum, blackcherry, liquorice and spices. Medium finish with soft chewy tannins.

  October 16, 2018 - Nice nose, and some great fruit on the palate at first. The problem with this wine is its finish. It's on the short side and, more than that, it's a bit off-putting. A touch of yeast or something. Starts off near a 90 upon entry, ends up in the low 80s on the finish. Not bad, but wouldn't buy again. 85 pts.
