December 21, 2013 - Light lemon. Floral nose, light honeysuckle & jasmine, as well as pears & cinnamon. Medium body & acidity. Fruity and floral with a nice spicy bite on the finish. Correct but not thrilling.

July 15, 2013 - 2013 Sailing Trip in the Dodecanese; 7/12/2013-7/21/2013 (Athens & The Dodecanese): The juncture of huumility and beauty. Gold medal winner from decanter and rightly so. This simple grape us worked very well to produce a "serious" yet simple wine. Very fresh, light ripeness, round and on the easy side but with nice balance. A tounch of more ripeness than normal (Alpha has the auality of fruit to do so) but simply very nice, especially on a sailboat in the aegean. 87
