November 22, 2004 - This was a bottle I probably should have gotten to a year ago, but when the 2002 Feudi di San Gregorio Fiano di Avellino didn't appear to be sound, I grabbed this. Upon opening, the nose was very reticent, but as this warmed from cellar temperature notes of peach and honey started to come out. The palate is fairly dry, seemingly with a lot less fruit than a year ago, yet cutting and dripping with minerals. The finish is what makes you sit up and smile, an intense, oily crescendo that slowly fades out to salty minerality.

March 30, 2003 - Seattle Tasting Group does Tuscan reds (Seattle, WA, USA): My bottle. I liked this more than anyone else. Loads of peach, nice minerals, bursting out of the glass with fruit. Wow! Medium body with a clean feel, nice acidity, and a powerful finish. In my book this is an enjoyable white wine.
