September 11, 2018 - Just hitting it’s stride. I wish I had another case to drink over the next year. Great bramble and fruit on the nose. Powerful but silken entry and midpalate. Long, pleasing finish. Enjoyed with grilled vegetable ratatouille and grilled beef with olive tapenade.

September 29, 2017 - Full bottle off the wine list at Caveau. High tea (or rather - high-wine) with ET.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of deep red florals, violets, blackberries, black cherries, black pepper, garrigue flitting on and off. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), fine integrated medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet black cherries, blackberries, red plums, peppery spice, light licorice. Medium+ finish.
Good quality. Nice fruits with smooth integrated mouth-feel. Easy drink, not one to over-think about. Drink up and enjoy over next 2 years.
    70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre & 3% Cinsault.
35-40 year old vines. Fermented in cement cuves. Aged minimum of 6 months in foudre.
The name of the Domaine's Vacqueyras rouge changes each year, and is named after the daughters of Serge Férigoule: Either Floureto, or Doucinello, or Azalaïs.

February 10, 2017 - This has aged very nicely since my last bottle in 2014. Rich and robust, it paired nicely with a rustic ham soup.

April 23, 2016 - Overall impression was of a warm, slightly spicy, typical southern Rhone. Not spectacular but with a nice suggestion of tapenade, fairly pronounced acidity and ripe tannins. Drink now or keep another 2 to 3 years.
