September 23, 2019 - Kuki'o Wine Trip 2019; 9/22/2019-9/28/2019 (Champagne & Bordeaux): Among the best examples of this I’ve had as well. Much more Coche in character than Puligny. Reduced and smoky. Rich and dense, nearly viscous but fresh. Peak flavours at the moment, wouldn't hold this too much longer, but awesome tonight.

June 30, 2019 - When coche hits 20 years of age, its just stunning. Matchstick, lava, flint, fireworks and yellow fruit. It opened up with a flirtatious firework sensation yet. Super sexy Coche. Just missing some mid palate depth but the overall package is appealing enough. 93-94

May 24, 2019 - Outstanding. Very light yellow in color. No signs of being advanced at all. Lots of ripping 96 acidity with elegant fruit and floral character. Starts out excellent and just keeps getting better all night. Seems ageless and could go another 20 years.

April 26, 2019 - 1996 Burgundy Retrospective - The First Session (Clarity - Vienna, Virginia): Having had a great magnum in 2012, I am looking forward to drinking it again. A bit advanced but still enjoyable showing a lot of butterscotch and caramel. Being a label whore that I am, I am still enjoying it.

March 8, 2019 - We had this side by side with the 04 and 05, and this was my favorite. It had the classic Coche nose, which the others were missing and the flavors coated the palate. One of our party thought it was getting long in the tooth, but I didn't get that
