April 25, 2020 - Somewhat inexpressive and dominated by fruit. Not bad after a few days in the fridge.

November 21, 2017 - Just starting to show signs of life. This wine is still going to take some time in bottle. Really good right now, but still young.

April 8, 2016 - Weather sucks - Wines don't (GHT): Purple in color. The nose is very nice with a nice earthiness, black raspberries and a bit of black pepper. On the palate, this is lean but enough fruit to work well with dinner. A nice backbone of acidity. A bit more fruit would be good but such is the vintage IMO. Still an outstanding value at $35. I think it will continue to improve but am not sure if it puts on any weight. Certainly no hurry to drink these. A Fass Selection wine.

April 4, 2015 - OK, but a bit one-dimensional. Not a very good value at $35. I'll hold onto my remaining bottles to see if a few years in the cellar adds some depth. (Edited to add that the little bit leftover was much improved by the next night. I think this wine will really flesh out with age.)

January 25, 2015 - Slow ox'ed for 4 h and brought to friends' dinner. Showed the best among 2010 Cep Syrah, this, and 2011 Domaine Pierres Seches (Sylvain Gauthier) St. Joseph. Floral, meat broth, minerals, herbs and red/black fruits. Nice acidic lift but not nearly as much as Gauthier's wine. Nicely balanced. Meaty but still elegant. Also, still a bit young but very enjoyable now.
