August 16, 2019 - No formal notes but this wine is still very enjoyable - good color, good fruit, balanced and with a nice finish. If you have 'em, drink 'em.

February 27, 2006 - Drank at Neath's in Providence. This was a great wine and great night. Smooth all the way through and full of flavor.

December 7, 2004 - Doesn't hold the promise I thought it had in 2001. Nice berry nose with dark fruit, dusty tannins on the attack with moderate with and a bit of a puckery finish. Fruit is starting to fade, tannins still need another year or two. Try again mid-2005.

April 3, 2004 - I can't say that I was that surprised that a wine that announced itself as V.G.S. was Very Good S**T, but it's always nice when advertising happens to be true. Delicious now and nicely sweet, the wine has lovely cherry and chocolate flavors against a cedar and spice backdrop that comes together nicely. The tannins are not overly harsh, but promise a wine that is not done yet and has two or three more years of peak performance before beginning to muddy.
