July 27, 2013 - Pepper Bridge Vertical and Etc (Portland, OR): Surprise hit of the night. The aroma of this wine is very complex. There's some dark fruit, possibly blackberry. There's cigar. There's spice box. There's earth. There's anise. It an aromatic assault.

Flavors tend toward the dark fruit with a peppery backbone. Moderately long finish with pepper notes.
