  May 3, 2015 - Bouteille bue sur 3 jours. Le très long passage en carafe n'a rien changé à ce gros rouge très foncé, presque opaque. Nez de bois neuf, de tabac blond, lavande, et d'alcool.
  En bouche, ça m'a semblé manquer d'équilibre. L'alcool ressort beaucoup. Malgré la masse de fruit noir, on sent les tanins du bois.
  Je n'ai rien contre les vins très extraits et puissants de temps à autre, mais à 15,6% d'alcool celui-ci m'a lassé après 2 verres. Trop de tout...
  Je doute que ça soit un jour dans mes goûts, mais il est clair que c'est un vin qui pourrait vieillir très longtemps.

  November 7, 2014 - This was an interesting journey. Upon opening, I felt as if I had released a wild bull in my kitchen. Alcoholic, acidic and all over the place. I was sure I would NOT like this one! I decanted and let it rest overnight. Next day, it had calmed down, but still, I found it to be jammy and unfocused. However, on the third day, I tried it again and was pleasantly surprised. Very dark violet, inky, and almost black in the glass. Tobacco, plum and spice on the nose. Cocoa, tobacco, and black fruit on the palate. Complex, balanced, and focused. Aging gracefully either in the decanter or bottle scores big points with me, and I am looking forward to my next bottle.....
