August 7, 2022 - Dusty cherry, morelo and black. Kirsch. Some leather notes on the nose. Small glass but seems to slowly open. Very nice if needed more air or time in bottle.

October 23, 2021 - Only a small glass so tough to rate, but the experience is consistent with prior tasting notes. Uber concentrated palate of black cherry, spice, sweat meat. Nose of cherry liquer.

Quite closed on the nose
It is a massive great wine. Great overall power. Stylistically more of a Chambertin than a Clos de Beze (according to JM). Really intense red fruit.
