Community Tasting Notes 2

July 29, 2013 - Bright gold in colour. Petrol, exotic fruit notes, honey - elegant and lovely nose. Complex, balanced and smooth, honeyed almost dried fruit notes, acidity is kicking in towards the finish which is long and persistent. An excellent wine with a great future, my WOTN.

July 29, 2013 - An Introduction to Germany, A fine Wine Tutored Tasting with Martin Hudson MW (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): A star on the label here and thus like a Gold capsule this indicates the grapes were affected by noble rot. The colour points that way for sure, dark golden. The nose light and is a mix of Riesling aromatics, petrol, honey and the hall marks of botrytis so a touch of ripe apricots and peaches. On the palate it is viscous, ripe and dense. Sweet honey notes. Very round and utterly delicious. 91-92
