August 8, 2017 - Sweet, fragrant and complex nose. Mid-weight but dense. Oak is minor and integrated and the palate is surprisingly complete: sweet ripe fruit, savoriness/earthiness, mineral, greenness, and wood. Like a cross between cab franc and grenache?

Still tannic, don't think it's showing a lot of age despite being five years old and an entry-level bottle. Pretty incredible that this can be found at as low as 10 bucks.

February 12, 2016 - At first I drank this after a wine with much brighter acid, so it seemed flat. But when I came back to it after a bit and tasted it on its own, the fruit really stood out. Its a little on the flat side with low acid and hardly any tannins, but its jammy goodness makes up for it. Good QPR. I'm enjoying again on day 2.

October 18, 2014 - Better this time. Definitely a geeky wine due to really juicy acidity being the defining element. Likes and needs food but reasonably balances fruit with rocks and minerals. I liked it more than others.

September 27, 2014 - easy to drink dark purple. light-mid body, VG acidity, soft tannins, spicy, dark cherry. VG value.

September 8, 2014 - Medium bodied. Soft tannins, medium acidity, medium finish. Black cherry flavor, a little spicy, easy drinking, especially with a slight chill on it. Not super profound, but a tasty quaffer.
