Community Tasting Notes 1

February 7, 2015 - Stored at 55 degrees, humidity controlled. Decanted and open for 30+ minutes. The wine showed a complex, masculine structure with good balance and still enough fruit to be quite satisfying. 27 years from vintage, this wine has held up surprisingly well, which again demonstrates that an Italian wine from an outstanding vintage and top producer/vineyard will hold up better than many (if not most) California cabs.
