  October 22, 2016 - A nose of some dark fruit and some spice, dark purple in color. A medium bodied Rhone blend, with blackberry, plum, licorice and some spice on finish, a good value. www.winelx.com

  July 9, 2016 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Aromas of black olive, raspberry, bell pepper and herb on the nose of this. Nose really got open over the 30 minutes. On the palate, flavors of raspberry, black olive, coffee and prune. Ends with 15 second finish dominated by prune. Wine is dominated by sour notes. This is good for a certain crowd but I'm not a fan.

  March 16, 2016 - Agree with Nike-Raider. This IS a dead ringer for a dry Santa Barbara pinot. At $10, this is a wine that actually fits the "no-brainer" moniker.

  February 17, 2016 - Decanted. Right out of the gate the nose is reminiscent of a Santa Barbara Pinot, with cherry, berry and vanilla. More of the same on the pallet with a good dose of Black currant and bright acidity. The Finish is respectable with black spice , coffee, pepper and hints of anise. Firm smooth Tannins and a slight astringency - what a steal under ten bucks
