Community Tasting Notes 1

January 24, 2016 - Tasty French wine. Lots of plums in the nose on opening. Fills the palate with vanilla and orange, kind of like a cranberry-orange muffin. Tinge of brown in the color. A bit thin compared to the big CA cabs I usually drink, but rich and rewarding. Don't recall what I paid, but this isn't a top tier wine so I'm assuming good value here. Fading a bit after an hour, but the first sips were quite nice.
