  March 25, 2023 - This wine surprised me. Very pleasant cherry flavor with lots of depth. Went very well with my veggie pasta. Also very sippable on its own. Glad to have another bottle to share.

  June 3, 2011 - I held onto this bottle for many years and have been rewarded with an interesting, well-developed wine - but it's hard to sit on stuff like this for too long! A deep ruby in the glass with a perfumed nose of cherry and sweet oak. The palate is somewhat extracted and round with black cherry & plum flavors, while the receding tannins leave a dusty velvet on the edges. The wine finishes with hints of orange zest, sweet oak, and saddle leather.

  October 14, 2010 - I disagree completely with the lack of praise seen in the prior reviews below. I find this to be a wonderful Tuscan wine that is drinking very well right now. The fruit is well integrated, there is balance, still just enough tannic grip left and a smooth finish. I've been drinking this bottle over two days (stored under nitrogen). It's simply wonderful juice and I couldn't be more pleased with this a a steal of a QPR wine. I'm tempted to rate it as 92, maybe even 93...
