March 6, 2022 - MF's birthday, delicious, over the evening the dark fruit evolved toward chocolate covered cherries, tannins were smooth, rounded, velvety.

September 7, 2020 - Fantastic wine. Black fruit and cedar nose. Palate is dark cherry fruit, white pepper. Wonderful fruit finish on light tannins.

March 29, 2020 - Drink now. We have had this over a few years and last nights bottle was great, but a shadow of earlier ones. Reidel Syrah glasses with steak. My wife rated 94-95, but I like more fruit and it was more complex a couple years ago. On opening, it was tight, which made me think it was just right, but one hour later, it wasn’t there for me. The drinking window was about an hour, so I would pour a large glass and then take the air out. Just,y opinion.

February 9, 2020 - Black fruit and black pepper and finish for days. Made me remember the spicy flank steak I’d enjoyed earlier in the evening. And the wish of a blackberry pie to follow.
