June 25, 2022 - shared with pat at selkirk manor. i continue to prune the cellar of bottles with past due drink by dates. too much wine. not enough time. this wine proved to be in sound condition. no formal notes. the wine retails above my customary price point but does not disappoint. i recall good stucture with predominant black cherry notes.

May 31, 2021 - Medium to deep garnet in color with some orange variation at the rim. Moderate plus intensity. Blueberry, blackberry, crème brûlée, coriander, pepper, and black cherry pie. Medium tannin, medium acidity, medium plus body, moderate finish length. Very easy drinking and ready right now don’t wait much longer.

September 5, 2019 - Funky on the open. Showing lots of the Syrah. Enjoyable after it settled down. Not sure it's worth the investment of holding the 5 years, but interesting experiment.
