  September 18, 2020 - A bit on the light side but enough fine tannins and acid to say - still here. Fruit is light and spice faded. Best to drink now. I do not see this getting any better with a year or two of life remaining.

  January 14, 2015 - Deep, dark purple color. Medium to full body. Big blackberry on the nose with some vanilla spice. Palate of juicy blackberry fruit, oolong tea and baking spice on the finish. Some alcohol heat on the finish as well. For 9 dollars a bottle this is an extraordinary find. This wine begs for a juicy steak. I had this with meatloaf stuffed with chevre and spinach and it went quite nicely.
