  April 18, 2016 - Floral nose with aromas of raspberries, lilacs, and orange creamsicle. Refreshing, low in tannin, medium bodied. Raspberry fruit, orange creamsicle undertones. Good.

  April 1, 2011 - Man was this ever a good bottle of wine - I would say that it's right at its prime now and I usually drink wines (my friends say) past their prime. This has great dark fruit - the nose is impressive and it has those wonderful date and ripe plum fruit flavours on the long finish. Wish I had more... Drink now and over the next 2-3 years.

  April 3, 2010 - Quite tannic to start with. Then I drank it with some salami and it was a great complement as the fat of the meat destroyed the tannins. Definitely needs food. Not one I'd drink on it's own.

  January 2, 2007 - Excellent and versatile food wine: anitpasto, cheese, pasta, chicken, fatty fish, simple beef dishes. The utter absence of oak makes this wine seem simple when compared with trendier styles, but the fruit, acid and earth are perfectly balanced, giving this wine a fresh feel in the mouth that is not as simple as it seems at first. Nice red and black fruit grounded with some earthy minerality. At $15, I'd say it was one the year's best buys for me. A sure crowd-pleaser.
