March 20, 2022 - Root Day - Decanted off a lot of sediment which had stuck to the side of the bottle making seeing it difficult. But… wow! What a lovely bottle of wine - nose is still youthful with cassis, black fruit, cedar and herbs. Smooth on the palate with rich black fruit and cassis. Long finish. What a great experience. Can drink now with pleasure but it will still develop for another couple of years.

October 22, 2007 - Awesome, very elegant and balanced - Very dark, concentrated, with notes of plum, black fruit, euchalyptus and vanilla oak, complex and 'big', yet food friendly, excellent length (90 Points).

January 6, 2007 - Decanted for 1hr and served at room temperature. Ruby red in colour. Nose of sour cherries and plum with hints of raspberries and tobacco. Silky smooth flavours of raspberries, plum and maybe even blueberries. This wine coats your entire palate and is close to its peak if not right at it. Tannins are non existent. Great value at $44cdn.

September 4, 2006 - Plum and dark fruit nose. Rich, opulent blackberries and black currants on the palate, with a thick mouthfeel.
