Community Tasting Notes 7

June 7, 2019 - Medium ruby in the glass. Awesome complexity on the nose - red/black fruit, herbs, nutmeg, cloves, paprika, fig, sweet spices. Great structure and concentration on this with a medium (+) finish. Varietal and regional expression on point to the dot. Balanced. Approachable, but can age for a few more years easily.

January 28, 2018 - Quite evolved colour, the nose is medium plus intensity, balsamic, blackcurrant and mint with some herby green leaf. More blackcurrant and mint on the palate with a touch of cedar, medium acidity, alcohol and body with fine tannins giving some texture. Pleasant enough but expecting to excite a little more for the price.

May 15, 2015 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are fast. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor, dust and flint. It tastes like espresso, oak, black pepper and tobacco. The body is medium/full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

April 3, 2015 - wow, wild aromas. mineral, green minty. yes, aussie eucalyptus. but more mint and green pepper on the palate. crazy spice. has an exotic berry appeal. acai.

    light-bodied, good acidity
a bit thin at the moment
    might need time
