  March 29, 2009 - Attractive garnet colour; muffled nose, hint of raspberry; dry, medium full, dusty tannins, finishes long. Rather taciturn & sullen.

  February 7, 2006 - Better than my first bottle. Hopefully, it was simply suffering some bottle shock as this example was richer, fuller bodied and more expressive.

  January 25, 2006 - Disappointing. This is the first bottle of a case and I am hopeful that this was not at its best. The colour was ruby red and the nose was suggesting a decent CdR but on the palate there was not much going on. On the thin side and even a little stemmy, the little bit of fruit was not enough to carry the day. No TCA to explain the disappointing performance.
  
  I'm hopeful that the rest of the case will better resemble Tanzer's description.
