  August 26, 2023 - Disjointed dark fruit, mocha, loam, vanilla. Tannins still barely present, medium finish. Minimal improvement over next couple hours, but did not hold up the next day. (Poured 1/2 into screwcap 375 ml. right after opening for the next evening.)

  September 30, 2016 - Excellent with a fillet. Nice nose a bit earthy. Great deep dark color. Should have opened a few hours before drinking as it got better as the evening wore on. My sense is it may be peaking here.

  January 23, 2016 - P/decanted/returned to bottle 6 hrs prior. Very minor fine sediment. Bright ruby/purple. Intense proper cab nose. Initially somewhat tight but opened up nicely with 15 min glass time. Typical good quality CA cab, med/full flavor intensity, med body, great balance, resolved tannins, plenty of acid, long finish. Nothing off, excellent with beef steak. Gift.
