  June 1, 2021 - 24 years after the ‘97 vintage and this bottle was pretty darn good. Granted it was a magnum which preserved the wine longer than a 750ml bottle would. It had a great, classic Napa cab nose and flavor. Definitely had some musty age on it (which I like) but was otherwise a very enjoyable wine. Wish I had one more magnum to spare!

  January 13, 2013 - Immensely approachable Cab with a smokey bacon aroma ; Hints of mineral flavor with a medium body . The wine has a polished texture and a long finish. Doesn't take long to like this wine !

  May 2, 2009 - The wine is still doing great. A little muted on the nose, but there is still nice fruit coming through with smooth integrated tannins. A little sour cherry and other dark fruits. Nice finish.

  October 19, 2008 - Decanted for about a half-hour. Nice fruit with smooth tannins. There is a sour cherry taste coming on the finish that is very nice. Went will with some leftover prime rib. Yet I am enjoying this wine on its own more. This is still holding up nice, even though the winery warned me a year ago that I probably should drink up.
