December 1, 2023 - Light gold, still fresh with excellent acidity acting as a canvas for the lovely, aged tones of burgundy Sublime

June 20, 2016 - Good fill, cork came out well. Beautifully light color for a 28-year-old white wine, and none of that rancio/sherried/bitter character -- if only current 8-year-old White Burgundy was this fresh! There's a powerful suggestion of mint, as well as some creamy vanilla nougat and hazelnut. There's not much fruit left, but what's there is green in tone, think green apple and lime. Not super dense, powerful or oily, only medium bodied at this stage, with good acidity, and an edgy minerality that becomes more noticeable with food. Still excellent length. This was probably better 10 years ago but has held up very nicely. Very good, and very interesting, although not great.

December 21, 2015 - caveat - this wine was inadvertently frozen by our wine cooler - the cork was pushed out, but remained in the bottle. I thawed it then we drank it 2 days later. Still a remarkable wine. Light gold color, very fresh and aristocratic with excellent acidity. a truly elegant wine and all the more remarkable given its trials.
