Nice spicy nose with sweet cherries, pepper, dark chocolate.
Great balance on the palate - very nice CdR - with ripe cherries, mature tannins and the typical herbs.

November 19, 2011 - opened and used 2/3 of it for a Beef Bourguignon . Deep purple in the glass, with a bit of sour cherries and dark berries coming through in the nose with a little bit of peppery spice. On the taste, good structure, some acid and pretty smooth. Tannins in check with good balance. Great QPR for <$10. 89pts
