August 18, 2016 - I am a fan of Roar wines, drink a few of these every vintage. This bottle was not very enjoyable because it was so out of balance. Oak overwhelmed everything else in it. Could hardly taste the fruit. This is not typical of these chards. I had a bottle just after release and it was very good. Hope the other 2012's hold up better.

January 13, 2015 - color is light gold
nose is jasmine, lemon peel, honeysuckle, pear
palate is grapefruit and lemon peel that starts slightly sweet but finishes with some salinity
soft and smooth finish but light on the acid
