May 22, 2022 - Cassis, wrapped in more cassis, swimming in joo joo fruit and red vine candy. The dark appearance is just a deep, deep red. Lots of lumber in this, and I would say it is on the other side of peak now with the toothpicks starting to poke through. Drink soon for its best, this is fading and will fall apart with more time.

January 29, 2021 - ONe of the best Stewart vintages I think .. Very dark Ink, but a wonderful nose of leather and casis, nice long finish. Tanins are soft an perfectly balanced. Loved this wine.

June 15, 2020 - Beautiful foral bouquet with a whisp of clean shaved soap (no, not the glass). Medium+ tannins with rounded mouthfeel. Flavors of blueberry, dark fruit and plum. Long finish that goes on and on. Lovely wine with years ahead of it.

July 15, 2018 - Consistent notes from last tasting. Dark, full structure with a candied nose. Chocolate notes on PnP with a smooth, enjoyable finish. Some sediment. This seems to be in prime drinking window — will most likely open the two bottles I have left in the next two years. While I don’t think it’s at risk of going over the hill, this wine is in a very good place right now and won’t be as much to my own liking as the fruit of this enjoyable 2010 fades. Score [ 50 + 5 + 13 + 18 + 8] = 94.
