November 23, 2014 - If tasted blind, I would have guessed a cheap Trollinger from Würtemberg... Thin raspberry and notes of synthetic vanilla - low acidity, no character. A lousy wine...

January 20, 2014 - Bland, dilute and overoaked, all the edgy character and typicity of the Sangiovese grape have been smoothed away into a NewWorld-style vanilla confection. A pity because Rosso Piceno used to be reliable in terms of terroir and value. Fortunately, other producers (like Monte Schiavo) still deliver the goods.

December 19, 2013 - Cherry, clear colour with slow legs. Nice. Nose: fresh cherries, bit sharp, bit stuffy, bit alcoholic. Taste: nice young tannins, firstly cherry freshness later custard-vanilla quite long finish. When openes becoming more dry.
