March 8, 2004 - Nose has a lot of dust with a bit of off odor still. Incredibly juicy on the front palette with lots of fruit with noticable tannins. Smooth in the mid-mouth with a moderate finish. Would be a couple points higher if the nose wasn't so offputting.

January 14, 2002 - A huge zin just made for pairing with food. Incredibly concentrated fruit that bursts in your mouth and coats it with sweetness. Starts with mint and a metallic pencil lead, swells in the middle with cherry and blackberry and finishes with lots of tannins and a long, long finish. Should age well into 2006.
