November 27, 2022 - Well, there was a bunch of us and eventually the Kata and the Pahlmeyer bottles were empty and dinner wasn't finished so I went to my locker and took out this bottle The nose is all fruit. The palate was blackberry, plum, cedar and a little coffee flavor. The finish was moderate to long. It was a few steps down from what we had been drinking. So a half glass here and there and we gave the rest of the bottle to the club staff.

May 25, 2022 - After a enjoyable round of golf on a beautiful NJ day we stayed for lunch at the club. I opened the wine and let it sit for a half hour or so before we started drinking it. The nose is all fruit. The palate was blackberry, plum, cedar and a little coffee flavors. The finish was moderate to long.

July 25, 2021 - Rich, full-bodied cab. I was hoping for more from the Beckstoffer To Kalon and George III fruit, but quite nice. Previously tried the 2000, but this is totally different, dropping the sangiovese. Drinking well now, tannins have resolved. Looking forward to next magnum, lots more time.

November 16, 2013 - The first vintage of this wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon offers up oak, licorice, earth and blackberry notes. The wine is fresh, medium/full bodied, soft textured and ends with plum, cocoa and fennel.
