April 19, 2021 - Consistent with previous notes. Super rich and way over-oaked for my palate, but it’s complex and interesting in its own way. Drink now. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 90.

April 5, 2021 - 1 hour decant. Too busy cooking and enjoying Easter dinner to formally taste, but a few impressions: Lots of pepper and roasted meat. Full body. Complex. Fun. Feels like it’s peaking but no signs of decline. A superb wine.

    January 30, 2021 - 45 minute decant.
I'll admit up front that I love Reynvaan, but I prefer their rocks syrahs as opposed to the foothills/hills.
This was medium garnet with a significant meniscus. Powerful nose full o pepper. Cherry and raspberry, as well as bell pepper, baking spices and coca rounded out the nose a bit. Palate of pepper, darker fruit, iron and a hint of olive. A good wine - potentially great if you prefer the peppery style of syrah.
At this point, well balanced, smooth with Med+ body and length. Less complex on the palate than other reynvaans.
