Pale, lemon-golden color. Restrained nose. Very mineral, not much fruit, medium finish, nice tension. I guess it needs some more years to evolve. 90-92 -

November 8, 2014 - Beautiful, young wine. Gave it a few hours of air in a decanter, and got some of the spicier side of riesling that Pfalz can deliver, in a full throttle perfectly balanced bottle. This is a kick-ass effort and I'm hoping I can get my hands on some of the 13.... Great work by this up and comer.

June 4, 2014 - Grapefruit is dominant in both taste and smell right now. Relative conc and rel long. Nicely made. The barrels may not directly be distinguished. I guess the wine will build up more body with more time. Lighter and less fruity than 11 and 09. After 1 day in refrigerator and additional aeration as well as little warmer the wine is at best. Store remaining bottles.
