Community Tasting Notes 1

September 12, 2013 - medium ruby, medium legs. Nose of red and black fruit (raspberry, blackberry), some spice and oak, medium intensity. High acidity and ripe silky tannins create good balance with a nice long finish. Red and black fruits on the palate, black pepper, spices, vanilla, and well-integrated oak. This is a very good example of a cold-climate Shiraz from Western Australia and will cellar nicely for several years.
