April 28, 2011 - This must be the epitome of old-school artisanal valpolicella. Aromas of red cherries, crushed cherry cores, grass and deeper earthy notes. Lovely freshness and drinkability with 12% alcohol, a perfect match with bread, ham, salami and pecorino - or on its own. Unpretentious, yet a genuinely good and authentic wine. Drink now.
