June 25, 2017 - Väldigt svårt att sätta betyg på detta vin. Troligen borde jag upp högre. Men just nu har det lite för mycket frukt för min smak. Men syran finns där, likaså sidentanninerna. Och jag är helt säker på att vinet har ett långt, långt liv framför sig. Kan troligen med tid utvecklas till något fantastiskt.

February 13, 2015 - The 2010 San Vicente is a lovely Rioja made of predominantly Tempranillo grapes. It exhibits a dark garnet core and offers intense aromatics in the form of blackberries, caramel, eucalyptus and burnt tar. It is full bodied and packed with lush, well rounded tannins, yet sharp and softly textured. The flavours don't let you down either as the wine pleases the palate with loads of raspberries, chocolate, shitaki mushrooms and hints of tobacco leaf. An equally impressive 45 second finish caps this off very nicely indeed. This superb wine has just begun its maturity phase and has a long life ahead of it. Drinking window: 2015-2030
