February 29, 2020 - This wine is 9 years old, and it was on its last legs. The cost of the wines at this winery, are very inflated for the quality you get. We have been Wine Club members in the past, but the quality of the wines, definitely has not kept up with pricing. Had a bottle in 2014, and it was not much different than this one. No fruit, no finish, decent nose, but served with a group of six, and this was everyone’s least liked, out of three wines, all Iron Horse Pinot Noir’s. Nobody Really liked any of them. Would not buy again.

November 24, 2017 - Definite cherry cola profiles, with some sturdiness that held up to rich foods with Thanksgiving dinner

January 14, 2017 - Good cork, pouring a medium- purplish ruby in the glass extending out to clear edges, with a delicate, quite "perfumey" nose of cherry, red alpine currant, and cola. Medium-bodied, with good supporting acidity and well-integrated tannins seemingly from some whole clusters. Overall pretty tasty, but struggles to distinguish itself, which as others point out is at odds with its very elevated price point. Our only bottle, which isn't a bad thing in this instance.

January 9, 2016 - Not much on the nose, didn't wow me at all

May 18, 2014 - Approximately 330 cases of this wine (exclusively of the 828 clone) were produced. Cola, Bing cherries, pine nuts and anise characterize the aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, round, seamlessly alcoholic (13.0%) and with featherweight tannins, it maintains itself throughout the middle palate as well as the back end. The wine closes medium-to-long but borders on overt flabbiness. As is the case with its 2011 Thomas Road brethren, this pricey Pinot does not represent particularly good value. This offering is lacking in acid and tannin and should not be cellared for anything other than short-term. Drink now-2016.
