February 17, 2019 - On the the side of peak, this wine is drinking at its best and is now in decline for those who expect freshness. Herbaceous is a great way to describe it now, with good vibrance, but losing freshness. DRINK

April 30, 2018 - Much better after 90 minutes. Broader and deeper. Still some tannins suggesting it will last another year, but the fruit seems to be fading. So drinking up after a drcant may be the best strategy.

August 16, 2017 - More herbaceous than I expected, I thought the fruit would come through more at this stage. Still drinking well and tastes fine. Should continue to evolve but who knows where.

October 11, 2016 - Medium to full body. Dark fruit with some toasty herbs. Balanced acidity with soft tannins on the finish. On day two there is more red fruit and less of the herbal quality. Also, the finish becomes very silky.

February 8, 2016 - Better than I expected, given that 2011 was not the best year for Napa Cabs. Pretty smooth, plenty of dark red fruit, tannins were soft. Pretty nice with a steak.
