February 16, 2020 - 90-91: pleasantly surprised at the heft and purity this wine has 14 years in. It's still got gobs of black fruit, the wine is velvetty, rich, with really refined tannins. Where I'd expect to find some green or herby notes, this wine is still wonderfully rich and correct. It's really good, kudos to Sam Baxter for a great wine. This wine has NOT been cellar kept, so with proper storage I imagine it's got several years to go.

September 8, 2013 - Dark, opaque purple. Dark, fruity aroma. Loads of blackberry, plum and currants on the palate along with some spice. The texture is the best part: velvety, fuzzy and elegant. Tannins are relatively soft. Overall very enjoyable even though it's not really my style.

December 8, 2012 - Outstanding QPR under $25 -- this Cabernet is big, intense, with an outstanding finish. Easily stands up to wines 2x the price. Excellent!
